Mike Marshall of Roofing and General building was both attentive and flexible, for example, he did not insist on building a tower scaffold just to inspect the roof. Many did. I find that helpfulness exceptional. His company did a good clean job, under complicated circumstances because my roof has 12 solar panels, within 5 days even though extra remedial work had to be done to the rotten joists which initially was unforeseen. Roofing and General building were not the cheapest quote we received but after meeting their representatives, viewing their portfolio and also seeing some of the work they had carried out locally, we felt comfortable they could handle what was a very large roof renovation project. It’s very early days but their work looks stunning. Highly recommend this company and look forward to getting them in for some of the other work we require.

Overall very good and very pleased with the final outcome. Slight delay in starting the job but this was addressed with an apology and discount once my need for urgency was understood. The trader then did everything possible to complete the job as soon as possible to my satisfaction and even threw in some extras at a reasonable price. I would use them again.

Very friendly, reliable and efficient service. We called them to give a quote for couple of jobs of which one was more urgent ie fixing the roof tiles back. They came on same day on a Saturday and fixed the tiles back. Really appreciated that they came on same day and resolved the problem quickly and efficiently.

Mike completed two jobs for me, both roof repairs. Initially some emergency repair to a leaking pitched roof, and then completely surfacing the flat roof above a conservatory. Mike was professional and informative about the work he was carrying out. He took a number of videos and photos of the damaged roof to explain the work he was carrying out. Everything was done to a very high standard with good attention to detail. Work was completed on time and within the set budget

Brilliant company, on time, accurate description of the problem even during these difficult times they were still on time every day during the work all the way up to completing the repairs.
